Painting from the Heart!

I spend alot of time painting projects.. but they may not always be the ones I "want" to be working on..

When you paint for Magazines.. there may be a need for a grapes project.. but not room for a clever easter project.. you can't really dictate to the editors what and when.. you have to follow their lead! I love all my projects.. and I still love painting it .. but there may be something else I'm dying to work on!

So my resolution is to PAINT WHAT I WANT.... 2 projects per month.. they will still become Packets and DVD's but I get to call the shots.. I don't care if anyone else likes it.. or if there is space for it in a publication.. This may be where I finally find a "me" style.. I have so many styles.... I have denied this for a looong time.. and the frustration has been burning.. So over Christmas while the shop was closed down.. and the family was playing with gifts.. I stole away.. like a kid with a candy bar and worked on the first one...
It has been inside fighting to come out for about one year.. since I did the Gingerbread Express for Painting Magazine..

I may not be the best Judge but I think Halloween Express won the fight.. and I am thrilled with this new creation..
