MY Life..My Clubhouse!

My Bible study this morning took me to Hebrews..
I am on my 5th trip more or less thru the Bible.. and I don't remember being impressed with Hebrews before..
Hebrews 12:1
"let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. 2Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross"

I take such a calm from this passage.. Fear melts away.. because I know that I do have a race that I "myself" am meant to run.. Not some happenstance.. flibbertigibbet..
Almost like being given a club house as a kid.. we didn't bemoan what kind of clubhouse we got.. we set about decorating it.. or making keepout signs.. etc.. IT was "MY CLUBHOUSE"
Perfect for me.. I remember being perfectly satisified that it was the coolest..
So.. taking the clubhouse metaphor and applying it to life..
This is my life.. the "coolest" life there is..
because it is ALL MINE!
now.. that being said.. it is up to me to make the most out of this perfect fit life of mine.. being given the perfect set of tools to handle everything I am dealt within this life.. Keeping my eyes on the lord for advice and a roadmap..
Wow.. all mine.. I better get busy.. making signs.. or decorating..
I guess I can't make a "no Boys allowed sign".. since I have 5 sons! ((wink))
