New Beginings!

Strange title you ask? Nope! I was consulting with a woman who was moving into a new house. She is in the enviable position of keeping both houses so she can live in one while the other gets a paint job etc.. This also puts her in the position of descision making....
When you have all of the choices in the world available and can make a fresh start how do you choose? My advice... Let something else decide! If you have a new couch you love and will be keeping pick a pallet to go with it.. A fine china set from grandma that you want to spotlight??
A wonderful woman once told me "Start with what you know". You can eliminate your clients pain or your own if you will follow this simple advice. My client knows she has to have a soft Blue Dining room, Okay this shows in the living room and the kitchen so we can use this to spring from...

The same thing goes with any painting project. Begin by seeing it in the room it will go in..and get the color out that will look great there...then grab your color wheel...If you do not own a color wheel go down to the local quilt shop and pick up theirs it is a lot nicer that the ARTISTES wheel.
Now you have sooo many choices, just follow the simple lines on the wheel. soft blue can go with orange of pink or even Brown etc..there are so many choices you would not believe it! The other point to remember is it is only PAINT! You can always paint over it!
