Are you a Painting Gourmet?

I was making coffee for my husband today and was laughing at myself grinding the beans...Was it very long ago that we paid extra for "already ground beans" Now we go to the market and shell out big time for Beans... So we can grind them ourselves?
I am by nature a pondering kind of person...
When did we become a society that appreciates Homemade products? When did we change the mind set about paying extra for custom made items...What about convienience?
I think our NAFTA world of cookie cutter volume Mega stores is coming to it's senses.

I don't think we want it ALL...
I think we want it right..
Our way..

remember the Burger King song? "hold the pickles hold the lettuce...? Or who sang "I did it my way?" for decorative painters this is an exciting time to paint... Especially if you paint for gifts or for customers.

My clients want to match their decor..Their colors...It is very very important to them and the only people that can give it to them is... US! we can teach how to paint or provide custom painting services for walls or furniture, we can paint for Bazzars and offer choices in colors... or personalize with a name, NAFTA may have muscled out alot of our market but I think it did away with those who were painting cookie cutter already. Those who are left are going to be the painting gourmets, have you ever savored the taste of Artisan Bread? Or freshly ground coffee... Thats right...YUMMY! when was the last time you made real pudding for your family? (Have you tasted the stuff they call pudding? eck..)

I am so thrilled that we are coming to our senses... It's time to wake up and smell the.....freshly ground coffee...MMmmmmmm
